Former Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sujata  Koirala has said that the Constitution should be developed through due process if there is lack of consensus among the political parties.


Leader of Nepali Congress Sujata Koirala expressed her confidence that the Constitution will be developed either through consensus or process. 


Leader of Nepali Congress Sujata Koirala has accused that some individuals within the Congress are hesitant in writing the Constitution because of the fear that Prime Minister and party chair Sushil Koirala will be in a stronger position if the Constitution is drafted.


Leader of Nepali Congress Sujata Koirala said that there should be guarantee of equal representation of women in all bodies of the state. Expressing her best wishes to Nepali women inside Nepal and residing abroad on the occasion of the 105th International Labor Women’s Day, she stressed on the need to end all forms of discrimination between men and women and a respectful presence of women in the decision making level of the state.


Nepali Congress leader Sujata Koirala today said that she would contest for party presidency in the upcoming general convention.


Leader of Nepali Congress Sujata Koirala has concluded that the Constitution will only be issued through the hands of Prime Minister Sushil Koirala. She opined that if the Constitution is not issued by Prime Minister Sushil Koirala then there will be no one else who will issue the Constitution. 


Meeting was conducted in Social Welfare Council (SWC) to facilitate all INGO's working in Nepal for relief work for the victims of devastating earth quake that took place on 25th April 2015.


After the disastrous earthquake of Baisakh 12 and 29, relief materials were distributed in Wards 6, 7 and 4 of Bande Village Development Committee of Sindhupalchowk District through the initiation of  hon.Sujata Koirala. 


Hon Sujata Koirala initiated the distribution of relief materials to the earthquake victims of Bhimtar VDC of Sindhupalchowk District. Relief materials were distributed to 1200 households of Bhimtar VDC constituency no.2 of the district.
