Mithila Yaen Art Gallery organized a collective art exhibition of professional artists of Nepal on the occasion of the 90th Birth Anniversary of great leader Girija Prasad Koirala.
The exhibition was inaugurated by Honorable Vice President Paramananda Jha by lighting a lamp in the presence of the Chair of the Girija Prasad Koirala Foundation, Constituent Assembly Member and Special Guest Sujata Koirala.
Chief Guest Jha and Special Guest Koirala also garlanded the picture of late Girija Prasad Koirala.
The program was facilitated by Director of the Art Gallery Shyam Sundar Yadav who shed light on the contributions of late Girija Prasad Koirala, the objective of the collective art exhibition.
Bhuwaneswore Prasad Yadav, Chair of Bidhya Nagar VDC welcomed all the participants to the program and highlighted the life of leader Girija Prasad Koirala and his contributions to the nation. Senior artist Ragini Upadhyay analyzed the exhibited art creations and stressed on the need to organize a program to establish an art gallery in Birartnagar.
Chair of the GPK Foundation, Sujata Koirala highlighted the contributions made by late Girija Prasad Koirala and shared the objectives of the exhibition. Vice President Jha expressed his pleasure to have inaugurated the exhibition on the occasion of the Birth Anniversary of the great leader Girija Prasad Koirala and noted the sacrifices that he had made for the nation.
Chair of the program, Gehendra Man Amatya said that late Koirala was not only the hero of the nation but the whole world. He thanked the organizers and the participating artists. At the end of the program, Chief Guest, Special Guest and all other guests observed the paintings. The program will be ongoing till 12 July, 2014.
