Nepali Congress leader and former Deputy Prime Minister Madam Sujata Koirala attended Wanshou Forum in Beijing, China on 3rd
December 2017. The theme of the Wanshou Forum was “The Global Significance of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese
Characteristics for a New Era”. The forum held on 3rd December 2017 was hosted by International Department of Central Committee of
Communist Party of China, Renmin University of China and was organized by Chongyang Institute for Financial Studies, Renmin University of China ( RDCY) with the support of School of International Studies, Renmin University of China ( RUC) and Journal of Renmin University of China. On the occasion, Madam Koirala spoke on International Cooperation and cultural communication perspectives. On the occasion, Madam Koirala told that the visionary leadership of President Xi Jinping has led China towards rapid development. She also told that the youthful aspiration of China obviously represented by brilliant student at the Renmin University was becoming the engine for global growth and source of shared prosperity for all. China has been the key development partner of Nepal especially for development of infrastructure project. Madam Koirala also reiterated the continued support of Nepal on one China policy since the time of former Prime Minister Girija Prasad Koirala.
