Leader of the Nepali Congress Party and former DPM/FM Hon. Sujata Koirala left for Bali, Indonesia to attend and address the 6th Global Forum of the United Nations Alliance for Civilization (UNAOC) to be held from 28-30 Aug 2014. This alliance for civilizations aims to bridge cultural divides and create mutual understanding and respect among diverse cultures and religions. Today more than at any other time in history, diversity is a reality that affects human life in every sphere: diversity among nations, cultures, ethnicities and identities, in beliefs, faiths and traditions. On the occasion of the 6th Global Forum of the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations (UNAOC) Leader Koirala is also going to attend the Intercultural Innovation Award Ceremony which will be attended by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia, R. M. Marty M. Natelegawa, UN Secretary-General Ban Ki Moon and the High Representative of the UNAOC, Nassir Abdulaziz Al-Nasser. The Forum is going to be attended and addressed by many world leaders including UN Secretary-General Ban Ki Moon, President of Indonesia Susilo Bambang, Foreign Minister R.M. Marty M. Natalegawa and John W. Ashe, President of the 68th UN General Assembly.
